Samsung puts Galaxy M54 on shelves in Middle East
A week after Samsung launched the Galaxy A54, another new smartphone from the South Korean smartphone giant has already appeared. It is the Samsung Galaxy M54 which has a bigger screen, a large battery and a camera with more megapixels than the A54. Read more about this new device here!
Samsung M54 quietly appeared
Unannounced, it was suddenly there, the Galaxy M54 in the Middle East and in Samsung's online web shop in the Arab world. The M54 is the big brother of the Galaxy A54 that appeared earlier this month. For instance, the Galaxy M54's screen is a lot bigger at 6.7" inches and an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This gives you very bright images with smooth animations. The Galaxy M54 is powered by an Exynos 1380 processor and supports 5G. The device packs 8GB of working memory and comes with 128 or 265GB of storage. The battery has a very large capacity of 6000mAh that will get you through well over an entire day without recharging. The device can be charged with up to 25W.
Cameras and design
The cameras of the M54 are individually placed on the back, rather than sitting on a camera island. The main camera has a resolution of 108 megapixels, the wide-angle lens camera is present with 8 megapixels and there is a macro camera with 2 megapixels. The design otherwise resembles that of other new Samsung devices. The Galaxy M54 runs on Android 13 and has Samsung's One UI 5.1 shell. This lets you change the design and style and get to work personalising your device.
Availability of the M54
It is not yet known when and if Samsung will release the Galaxy M54 on the Dutch (or European) market. Nothing is also known about the price yet. Its predecessor, the Galaxy M53, was only available in the Netherlands through third parties. It is always possible that parties will still bring the smartphone to the Netherlands via import. So we will have to wait and see whether the big brother of the A54 will be released in the Netherlands, in any case, we are curious!
